Description of the Security Clearance and Follow-up Division

The Security Clearance and Follow-up Division in the college is considered one of the essential administrative and organizational divisions. It is responsible for regulating security and administrative procedures related to staff and students, ensuring compliance with approved rules and regulations, and promoting a safe and well-organized academic environment.

The division handles the issuance and follow-up of security clearances, coordinates with relevant authorities to verify security status, and monitors adherence to regulations within the campus. It also prepares periodic reports for the college administration on various security and administrative matters.

The division consists of the following units:

Administrative Affairs and Electronic Archiving Unit:
Responsible for organizing official correspondence, managing files and documents, and maintaining electronic archiving systems to ensure accurate data storage and confidentiality.

Information Unit:
In charge of collecting, organizing, and updating data related to staff and students, and providing necessary information to support the division’s operations and decision-making.

Security Clearance Unit:
Handles the issuance and renewal of security clearances, follows up on approval procedures, and ensures that all required conditions are met.

Inquiries Unit:
Responsible for responding to inquiries related to security procedures, receiving visitors, and guiding them to facilitate their transactions.

ID Cards and Badges Unit:
Specializes in issuing and renewing university ID cards and identification badges, ensuring proper identification of individuals within the college.

Safety and Security Unit:
Responsible for monitoring safety procedures within the campus, ensuring compliance with security instructions, and contributing to risk prevention and overall campus safety.
