Information Technology Division

The Information Technology Department is considered one of the essential departments in the college. It is responsible for managing, operating, and developing the technical infrastructure, as well as providing technical support to ensure the continuity of work with high efficiency. It also supports both the educational and administrative processes through the use of modern technologies.

 

Department Units

Computer Maintenance Unit

This unit is responsible for:

  • Maintenance of computers and peripheral devices (Hardware & Software).
  • Handling and repairing technical faults.
  • Installing and updating necessary systems and software.
  • Monitoring device performance and ensuring readiness for use.
  • Providing technical support to staff and faculty members.

 

Internet and Networks Unit

This unit is responsible for:

  • Managing the internet network within the college.
  • Connecting departments and units through a Local Area Network (LAN).
  • Monitoring network performance and ensuring its stability.
  • Securing the network and protecting it from intrusions.
  • Setting up and maintaining network devices (routers, switches).

 

Website Unit

This unit is responsible for:

  • Managing and updating the college’s official website.
  • Publishing news, announcements, and activities.
  • Improving the user interface and browsing experience.
  • Ensuring the continuity and security of the website.
  • Coordinating with departments to update content.

The Information Technology Department aims to:
