Training Workshop Entitled “Commitment to Public Service Ethics and Its Impact on Combating Administrative Corruption” at the College of Education / Al-Qaim

As part of our college’s annual programme to implement the National Anti-Corruption Strategy and under the patronage of the respected Dean of the College, Professor Dr Nasif Jasem Mohammed, the Human Rights Unit held a scientific workshop on Sunday, 11th May 2025, entitled “Commitment to Public Service Ethics and Its Impact on Combating Administrative Corruption”.
The workshop took place in Dr Hammad Nawaf Farhan Hall, with the attendance of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, alongside several esteemed lecturers and college staff.

In his lecture, Dr Ahmed Raki’ Khalifa discussed public service ethics and explained their importance in preventing the misuse of authority, such as accepting gifts or making decisions that serve personal interests or favour certain parties. Such practices can lead to a decline in the quality of public services and a loss of public trust in institutions.

We wish everyone continued success.
